 NSQF Marks distribution and marks  entry form 


NSQF Karnataka is works on the one of the very successful running of vocation courses from 9th mean level 1 to 2nd PUC mean level 4.

The evaluation method is totally differ from other subject because it is an vocational skill based and practical oriented courses in all over India.

In Karnataka the examination board from KSEEB and PU Board both decide to evaluate following methods.


Subject Name-NSQF 

    1.Information Technology IT/ITeS - 86/61

    2. Retail - 87/62

    3. Automobile -88/63 

    4. Beauty and wellness-89/65

Total Marks -100 (Theory + Practical +  Internal assessment)

Total 100 marks is divided 3 parts 

1. Theory part- It includes only the exam part mean the main exam conducted from respective board (KSEEB for SSLC and PU Board Karnataka for PUC ) total marks allotted for this part is 30 ( but question paper designed for 60 and the obtained marks can dived by 2 and convert to 30). 

2. Practical part- It is the main part for vocational education mean practical examination , the practical examination allotted totally for 50 marks and 50 marks divided again 30 for hand on skill (complete practical),10 for portfolio(practical record or related documents regarding practical) and remaining 10 for viva totally 50for practical.

Practical examination is conducted by sector skill council with respective skill sectors of related sectors GOI-SSC.

3.Internal assessments-It is the  main and easy to score 20 marks, For IA allotted 20 marks and that 20 divided 4 different parts and each parts contains 5 marks .

    i. 5 marks for CBT-Test conducted for each students.

    ii. 5 marks for attendance 

    iii. 5 marks for portfolio

    iv. 5 marks for direct observation 

    i+ii+iii+iv = 5+5+5+5 =20

internal assessment conducted and evaluated by the trainer who teach the related subject.
